The philosophy was always to funnel players to Rudy. They picked him up because they he was cheaper than Hill and Hayward said he would play with him. Playing passing lanes doesn't work if Rudy isn't playing though. He gets away with his gambling because of Rudy. PG is one of the most important positions defensively because most of the opposing point guards are big scorers in the no check era. Not as important with Gobert.

How does a guy that can't shoot mesh well with their system? You need to be able to play with and without the ball with the Jazz. Ricky spotting up in the corner makes opposing teams ecstatic!

Ricky gets credit for Mitchell's greatness too!

They were horrible for most of the year. They had one streak early in the year when Hood was out and Snyder only played Ricky about 20 minutes a night. And the current streak. Otherwise they've been awful especially on the road where they had lost almost every game. Ricky and Hood's 30 minutes a night were the main reasons for them sucking too

Mitchell is often the defensive weak-link and has been less efficient than Ricky in this 18-2 run, making him by far the least efficient player on the floor. And you want to talk about his "greatness"?

You're such a clown. Gobert and Ricky's numbers are deflated because they had to figure out how to play with each other and it was absolutely awful for the first weeks of the season. Ricky's numbers without Gobert are made worse by the time Gobert was out for an extended period of time. They've figured it out now. It has been 20 games now that Ricky and Gobert have been putting up great numbers.

That's a trend, not a hot streak.

And no, his numbers will NEVER allow him to play in the All-Star game, but if you want to complain about his offense, he is more efficient than Westbrook. Take that for data.

It's an 82 game season is the problem with your thinking. Where was he the rest of the year when they were losing because of him and Hood? That's what Wolves fans keep telling you. They've seen it before. He's got mental issues that much is clear. When he's confident he's a different player even though it's always ugly. When he's not he doesn't belong on the floor.

So now it's getting down to insults because I don't think Ricky is an all-star? I'm not going to defend Westbrooks' efficiency. Tired of hearing how Ricky had to adjust. Hill was arguably the best player on the team in November. Why didn't he have to adjust? Because he was a perfect fit for what they do. Ricky never made any sense.

Why are we comparing him with Mitchell though? Exum is really the only guy to compare him with which we can soon. More missed lay-ups and bricks from the perimeter!

Ricky's numbers are even uglier than his game if that is at all possible. Go check them out sometime!

You're a clown trying to say Mitchell is better for the team than Rubio. It's just wrong, and it's totally something you would say.

Gobert wasn't good to start the year either. No one was. So does the whole team suck?

Gobert wasn't bad to start the year. He wasn't as good as most expected. I expected problems with two non shooting bigs and Ricky. It's been even worse than I could have imagined though.

Yeah, 18-2 since the Atlanta game where the starting lineup (Rubio, Mitchell, Ingles, Favors, Gobert) is like +10-12 per 100 FOR THE SEASON and the only better lineup is with Crowder at the 4. It's been awful.

Ricky is Donovan's mentor, if you were actually paying attention to the team like you pretend to you would know this/

+ Again, you continue to use the phrase "most of the year", when "most of the year" they have been winning games and Ricky has been the catalyst more often than not, you are just salty, it's difficult to quantify his positive contributions to team chemistry but if he was so terrible then why are they playing so well? It doesn't make sense, because it's not true.

Has many mentors but you only see one guy so how would you know that!

They weren't winning games most of the year! They were the worst road team in the whole league before this stretch. THey had one nice stretch early in the year against crappy teams when Ricky only played about 20 minutes a game and Hood was out.

Rudy is the catalylst as he has been for more than 3 years but you wouldn't know that because you see one guy
