I'd say our defense was mildly better overall but the biggest factor was that our defense stepped up and got stops when we needed them the most. Our post defense looked soooooo much improved in the second half. You guys kept hitting jumpers though.
Hope Hood didn't tear something He barely got touched and went down...and that is usually a sign that something is torn.
Similar to last year we started to shit the bed but the veterans came through and kept us in it.
Wiggins really ****ed up...Utah was inbounding down 4 and Wiggins ****ing fouls Ingles without the ball even being thrown in. WTF?

The Jazz suck though. Wouldn't get too excited.
Bonehead play by Wiggins for sure
Saying Hood only has a calf sprain. Hard to believe you would need to be carried off the floor for that but he is known to be soft
Minnesota will have it rough for a while until everyone buys in. Keep in mind this team is going through a culture change. Their defense will improve as the season goes on and by the end of it, or at least by next season, they'll be pretty elite if everyones on the same page and Towns/Wiggings continue expanding their games
The minutes thing is so over blown its crazy. Once the season plays out and the leader in minutes is usually around 35-36...it could be Butler or maybe he gets more rest with this team.
But the leader at 35 and the guy who is ranked 90th at 32. I wont put much stock into those 3 min, especially when theres more days in between games and they cut down on the back to backs/4 days 5 nights BS.
I head scratched tonight tho. they were up 18 with 5-6 min left, I guess hes seen it too much while coaching here that that 18 pt lead can be down to 12 or 10 in a matter of 1:30 seconds.
I know that Towns should improve his defensive awareness and focus on becoming a better team player and all that but I feel the addition of Butler might stunt his development. He needs to feel the pressure of being a leader and carrying an offensive burden. I'm sure Butler is great for the team's success in the short term. I just hope that Towns gets the keys to the team soon.
