I want to see him back. I think he didn't play well in the playoffs because the Lakers didn't set him up to succeed in the playoffs. He's a good athlete, playing with probably the slowest front court in the league and Kobe who is just a decent athlete at this point. The Lakers wanted to play at a slow and controlled pace in the playoffs because if they try to play fast and up-tempo against Denver they probably would've lost and would've gotten swept by OKC. Blake's better at Sessions at a slow-paced game which is why he probably got more run anyway. Sessions played very well in the regular season when he got to run and play at a faster tempo.

If they resign him they should trade Bynum for some more athletic players at the 3 and 4, IMO.

JJB would be great on the Lakers. He is excellent in the pick and roll, shoots 3s well, can drive fast to the hoop when needed, knows when to take a backseat to the star, is solid at collapsing defenses, and is a surprisingly pesky defender. The dude is also tough as nails. Many people seem to forget that he make the shot and subsequent FT when Bynum took that BS cheap shot on him in the playoffs last year.

same things they said about Sessions before the trade...and he showed these features before he got acquainted with the dumb fcuk coach's system...

walk the ball & dump it to kobe or the bigs for iso...he became useless...in the playoffs they didnt even play any P&R at all with Pau in high post and bynum in lost post with sessions giving up the ball

I remember Clippers torching the OKC's with their P&R in regular season but the lakers refused to use that

so its not the player that comes in..its their freaking coach

I still remember Brown being signed and some Lakers fans were okay with it. They had no idea what they were in store for. I love Brown as a defensive coach, but he should not be a head coach of a NBA team at all.

Sorry Lakers aren't running their offense through Sessions or JJ. Fit in or get out.

i agree 100%...he should be a assistant coach just like malone...

whats worst is he doesnt use any creativity on the offensive side...

Phil said Jim buss basically hired him to be his dog...& do what Jim wants him to do...

Give a much bigger role to Bynum...while gasol is out of his role...and is performing pathetic

he doesnt understand that his Spurs big men vision wont work with Bynum/Pau...mutha fcuka doesnt even know how to team that system to utilize his players

Kobe making point guards go extinct effect....It's been going on for quite some time now. It's rough playing with a ball hog and an immature front court big man.
