i don't think a baseball player can have empty stats. they all bat one at a time. theres no way to force stats

and the game is so heavily dependent on pitching so even supposedly the best player ever ( barry bonds ) can go ringless even with all the roids and stats in the world in his favor

Does MVP or any award ever even matter anymore? I mean, the whole thing is ruined by that cringy, shitty award show somewhere in July, when no one gives a f about the NBA anymore.

It still annoys me that Silver changed the old format. The MVP should be given at the start of the second round so the home crowd can give him a standing O. Instead they it cheapened by given the award out on some b-list show in the middle of the damn summer.
