That trade is weaker in terms of talent, but at least Indiana wouldn't have to take on Kapono's horrid contract.
With the signing/emergence of Pops, it pretty much makes Humphries leaving hurt less. Now, if O'Bryant could develop a decent game, we would have a pretty solid front court rotation (or Rasho!?)

Is Rasho a free agent?
Yes sir. Unrestricted. You think we can pick him up for the vet min?
I think that if Colangelo wants him, he can have him. Rasho loves Toronto, and Toronto loves Rasho. He would be a beautiful pick up.
If we can get Rasho and draft a rookie who can come in and help right away, I like the shape this team is in.
Plus bringing back Delfino will help our bench a lot as well. I think next year will be much better. Especially if we get the same production out of Bargnani and the team stays healthy.
No way do you trade Delfino. He's a great fit for us if we can get him back. I'm not one of those that thinks Delfino underachieved last year. When he was on, he was great, and he was on a whole lot more than he was off. Every player goes through hot and cold streaks and those that chose to focus on his odd cold streaks obviously didn't see everything that he brought to the table. He's tough, a good rebounder, better than average defender, and knows how to get to the hole through traffic and draw fouls. He's a keeper.

Does Indy still have Jarrett Jack - formerly of Portland?
Now if we could pry away Jarrett Jack to be our back up 1 / 2 player. He seems to accept the role playing behind Roy for example.
IIRC - Jack was a temamate long term of CB4 as well.
Perhaps trade down to Indy but get Jack in return?
Ohhh yes and sign Rasho - I agree.
Bosh and Jack are great friends, yeah.
Jack now holds down the starting job in Indiana, with Ford coming off the bench. I think it would be harder to get Jack away from Indiana than we think.
