Default Backcourt Duo Leaving Teammates Awestruck

Quote:
Just as the duo of Jason Kidd and Vince Carter awed rookies in the past, the new combo of Devin Harris and Carter is leaving new teammates in bug-eyed wonder. “I was just staring half the time,” Brook Lopez said of Carter’s high drama in Toronto. “I’ve got to stop doing that.” There is a lot to stare it. Harris and Carter are by almost any statistical measure the league’s most dynamic backcourt right now.

If I were on the Nets this would deffinently motivate me... Hopefully this can motivate Carter and Harris not only to dominate but get others involved and raise other's confidence.

The next couple of games look tough but if we can play solid D... I say we can have a winning record on that road trip.

They have been sharing the ball. I think that keeping Carter on this team is best for all parties, and this is a reason why.

KEEP CARTER!!!

i bet if carter's efficiency rating and PER were matched against his salary he would be well worth the money.

hmm, maybe we should try it...

efficiency: 22.5, 16th place in the league.
PER: 24.68, 12th in the league.
salary: $13.3 million, 27th in the league.

yea, even without calculating a player's efficiency per salary unit and comparing it against other players we can already see that he's outperforming his salary. of course, the 2-3 positions are the easiest positions to fill, while the 1 and 5 positions are the hardest, but still... plenty of reasons to keep carter, i think.

Carter looks like a leader... something most people thought he couldnt do. This is great. He is taking better shots and his shots are going in wayyy more usuall than last year... He has really improved his already nice shot...VC is equally as needed as Harris.

Lets go Nets!!!
