man, I don't know if it is just cause I was young then, but it just really feels like the 90s were the peak years of the NFL...so many classic moments, for so many teams...I don't think the NFL will ever be as great as it was in the 90s...
90s NFL >>>> any other time in NFL history
the 90s were great. i still think the 70s were the best followed by the 90s then the 80s. the 2000s decade can't matchup to these 3 decades.
as for deion, there is no other corner like him. sure he's flamboyant and loud. yet he talks the talk and walks the walk. he wasn't afraid to get in the face of receivers. as a saints fan, i have seen deion do some damage on saints receivers like eric martin, quinn early, and such ....
as for favorite eagles, jaws is still my favorite followed by reggie white. sure he bailed philly for green bay in chase of money and the ring, but he gave a lot to the eagles. well, i would like to name the philly defense of the late 80s-early 90s. they were a badass defense.

Look at :28 seconds. He's a good 8 yards off the line of scrimmage to begin the play. As soon as the receiver makes his move Eli hits him with the pass but Asante has already jumped the route. Now it hurts them when he jumps the route and doesn't get there, but I've learned that if the receiver catches the ball Asante isn't going to be the one to bring him down anyway.
Terrible throw on a poorly ran route. If that was Steve Smith or Hakeem Nicks instead of Travis Beckum that is a completion.

UPDATE
Quote:
Does he switch sides? Go on the left side, the right side? Say, for instance, Andre Johnson is coming to town this week. Is he going to guard him one on one? When T.O. comes to town, does he take him one on one? When Larry Fitzgerald comes to town, does he flip sides and take him one on one? The answer to that is no so it's hard for me to give you that tag of the best overall cornerback in the game when you don't want that best receiver, that's tough. But I gave him a lot of love. I said he's the best off corner in the game, and that I will stand by. He is.
And as far as being a hater, Prime being a hater? I would have to have something less than he has to hate. I was the G.O.A.T. baby, the greatest of all time."
