Dude Ive lived at the bottom. Ive done medical studies for money, Ive sat in the audience on game shows for minimum wage. I worked at a sausage factory in the absolute middle of Nowhere, Texas. I have ****ing sucked dick for cocaine. Wait, not that last one. Ive slept in my car and when my car got towed, I slept in a laundry room. Ive turned DOWN money to try and do things my way. Let me tell you, its damn hard and Im not there yet. But Im healthy and I have a brain, theres no excuse to whine.

Today I finished a novel (Brave New World) and am teaching myself video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. Tomorrow? Ill practice my Chinese.

This is the problem when young girls get into showbiz because they're adorable when they're young, but don't actually have any talent.

Once they're all grown up and can't play the 'tween idol' role any longer, and the reality hits that they can't ACTUALLY sing nor ACTUALLY act... they're left with two choices. Fade away and move on to a life outside the spotlight... or desperately, shamelessly sell their bodies for continued fame. This performance of hers is a loudspeaker announcement of "I HAVE NO TALENT. PLEASE USE ME FOR JERKING MATERIAL." That's her prerogative, but why would you spend 1:30:00 watching that nonsense when you could take five minutes to go to a porn site, jerk off, then do something productive?

I just don't understand where people's minds are these days. And to that end, it's time for me to quit posting for tonight and resume a meaningful life.

My point in this thread has been missed anyway. I'm not saying people can't or shouldn't enjoy leisure time. But if the talentless TMZ-a-thon that is the VMA's is what stimulates people? You have ample time to round yourself out. Not just you, but virtually everyone in this country.

Idle, internet-dwelling 2013 middle class kids in America who have the freedom to do ANYTHING, and use it to watch the VMAs are not victimized. And many of them will do absolutely nothing with themselves. And losers on the left will call it injustice. Instead of calling it lazy.

Like other people have said quit tryin to group everyone together and make assumptions. I got up this morning, went to church, met with a friend for lunch, went for a 3 hour hike in the park, visited some family then came home and watched some TV to relax. And guess what? Now I'm gonna iron my clothes for work tomorrow then get up and work my 8-5 in the morning.

But of course in your eyes going to church, socializing with friends, staying active, bonding with family and working a 9 hour work day = a hollow existence because I decided to end the day by watching an award show instead of some Summer re-runs on TV. Makes plenty of sense

Well let's see after a quick Google search of ISH and VMA's, I see in 2010 you felt the need to come in and let everyone know that you dont watch the VMA's anymore
