in that recent homosexual thread, you were talking about how you could have trouble relating to gay dudes because you dont have anything in common. well, here is something you can talk about
Go outside shirtless and shoot hoops for an hour. If there's some sun, I guarantee you will get a tan.
Even in the winter I do that because it gets ****ing hot when you run around, no matter how cold it gets. Or gets here, which the coldest I have seen is 25 degrees.

more like "metrosexuals", but lol...I will admitt I get a tad embarassed if I ever run into someone I know at a tanning booth.
it is amazing though how many straight dudes tan and don't talk about it though...pale skin is a turn off to women...tan skin is more attractive...simple as that
I don't do it to the extreme point that it is a huge noticable change...just enough to get some color on me.
also, besides the huge time savings, the other advantage to tanning in a booth rather than the sun is "no tan lines"
Why do people say that you need to tan for 1 hour in the sun to get color?
My girl tans for like 20 minutes, 10 minutes facing up and 10 minutes facing down and she's taken decent a decent color. Just do it for a little more if you want a darker color.
You'll have to do this like 2 - 3 times a week and you'll be good. But if you can do it more often, then you should get better results.

that isn't true at all for most people, 20 minutes in regular sun would do nothing to me...but 20 minutes in a booth would burn me red.
it takes 5 minutes in regular sun light just for your skin to begin to start taking any color in...the first 5 minutes are nothing basically, its just prep time.

you're better off keeping your shorts on, that way it will appear as if you got tanned naturally outside,if a girl sees a guy with a tan ass she is going to know its fake, I personally have gone tanning before but have not entered a booth in over 3 years, I spend the entire summer with no shirt on and have a solid natural tan going,

I try to make it appear as though I don't have a "tan"...that my skin is just naturally awesome...thus no tan lines
If I had the luxury of playing in a pool all day I would do that like you...but I don't
