The Pistons aren't going anywhere. It's crazy how the economy makes things look this way. The Pistons are still supported by the fans. Sure they aren't going to sell out the arena every night, but that was expected once Joe D traded Chauncey and made it so we won't have a contending team for the next few years at least. Anyway around it, the Pistons are still a very valueable franchise and Detroit is a great sports town in general. It can definitely support 4 sports. I don't think Vegas could support 1. It's fun to have things like the all-star game there, but for people to show up to basketball games for an entire season I just don't think it could happen. Vegas is a tourist destination. Tourists don't typically just go to random games. They will go to shows on the strip, gamble, party, etc. There's too much to do in Vegas.
