Kawhi wasn't played against Clips , Suns,Lakers and Phila in those four games . Spurs hiding their real game against potential match up's in season . And others were Lakers,Phila and Suns , who are lottery teams .

Duncan didn't play in nearly 10 consecutive games . And Spurs allowed per game increased to 101 from 95 in those period .

Rim protectors always more important players than wing defenders on defensive side . Kawhi could get dpoy , like last year . But that's not meaning he's best defender of Spurs . Duncan hide his energy to playoffs . Even since his 2004 season ( 27 years old ) .

Duncan should of gotten it last year, so I'd be fine if they gave it to him this year instead of my boy Kawhi. He'll win plenty more at the pace he's going and even if he doesn't, Timmy retiring with 0 would be a far greater injustice anyway.
