Assuming he is still a Net on Friday, Anthony Morrow is scheduled to play against the Pistons in New Jersey. Morrow has been out for five weeks with a strained hamstring.
Avery Johnson said Morrow will be going full-contact Thursday and again at Friday's shootaround. Morrow added that the injury's been given enough time to heal and rest, allowing him to focus on returning to game shape with no worry of re-injury, Ben Couch reports.
Morrow has been rumored to be part of the package the Nets would send Denver as part of the three-team deal to bring Carmelo Anthony to New Jersey. He's tweeted that he would prefer to stay with the Nets.
