“Keep your legs crossed, your arms in the air, and crawl to me now!”

How is that even physically possible?

The kid was clearly scared as **** and it would seem some of his "uncooperative" hand/arm movements were because of nerves... but I mean... he's supposed to be crawling towards the officer, which he starts doing, and then he inexplicably reaches back to his waist... two things... I think the cop shouldn't be allowed to be a cop anymore but I also think, based on what the kid did, it should NOT be criminal action against the cop... he just shouldn't be in the force anymore.

I’m not buying the “the cop feared for his life”, “he wants to go home to his family at the end of the day”

If that is the mindset a police officer has, they flat out should pick a different profession

Being a police officer requires a certain amount of bravery and the realization that you are goin to be put in potentially dangerous situations daily, they know what they are getting themselves into, it is NOT an excuse to blow people away at the slightest apprehension

(I’m speaking in general terms here and not even specifically about this case. This one was more over the top because there is no way he could possibly say that he was scared for his life.)

its bizzare. because cops like that approach these situations as if their life is significantly more worthy than civilians (to the point they are willing to kill a civilian under small probabilities of a fatal situation). but whats the duty of a police officer? arent they suppose to put there lives in danger to save civilian lives? what actual intellectual property is within the substance of police officers that provides a service to the community? nothing, they are purely there to ward off dangers by putting their lives in the way. so, why all of a sudden is civilian life so dispensable when someone doesnt obey your command? its because these cops have developed an authoritarian complex. Doesnt it eerily resemble a king that has people killed for the smallest nuances?

Cops in America are far and away the most aggressive that I've met in like 15 first world countries I've been in. Part of it is crime, the other unfortunately is culture.
