If we're being honest, it's Cousins, as his team is more likely to make the Finals, and then they're likely going up against the Celtics, where he could dominate in the paint given the right circumstances. Boston can clamp down 1-4, but a healthy Cousins is a mis-match against Horford or whoever else they would put at the 5 to defend him. Let's say he averages a very efficient 20/10 in a close series while KD and Curry struggle, he would definitely see some FMVP votes. Draymond would have won FMVP in 2016, if the Warriors pull out Game
7, because his Game 7 was the best individual performance out of any player in any game, and he looked like the best player in 3 out of 4 wins.

Agreed. There is good chance that Cousins will be close to 100% healthy b y next June. Cousins can beast on Horford.

If Cousins wins FMVP it just shows that a team needed 5 HOF-ers just to challenge Lebron and a bunch sophomores.

GOAT impact.
