I think the Sonics are going to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this year. Maybe a contender for one of the last 3 rankings. They absolutely have no leadership experience with Lewis and Allen gone and the coaching is poor. They have a lot of training to do the next few years.

You all seem to be forgetting the one thing that can't be measured...heart

Oden hasn't had a losing season in his life basically...B. Roy has so much competetive fire...Travis Outlaw looks like a star ready to break out...then you add Darius Miles...a guy trying to turn his problems around and reportedly working his ass off to get back and help this team

They arn't that young...they are young by age...but a lot of their guys have been in the league for a little while...Martel is going into his 3rd season...Outlaw...his 4th season...Jack's 3rd season

These 3rd and 4th season are the seasons young guys usually break out and you can tell what they are really going to be in this league plus Blake is playoff expeirenced

It's ok though...I'll come brag when Portland is in the playoff race at the All-Star break much like the Seattle Mariners are right now...another team said to be young and a few years away from the playoffs...but sitting right there...this season

You know. It could go either way. I think it will be a close call to whether they make the 8th seed or not.
