The Big Three has decent reputation
Default Will Aldridge be able to cope with Oden when he comes back?

Aldridge seemed pretty confident playing today against the Jazz, and he's really been stepping up and leading Portland. If Greg Oden comes in and plays brilliantly, stealing some of Aldridge's spotlight, do you think he will react negatively?

He doesn't strike me as that type of guy. I can see him mope about not playing well, but not about the loss of his spotlight. Aldridge has been on and off though. His Christmas game was terrible.

Default Re: Will Aldridge be able to cope with Oden when he comes back?

For one, Oden wasn't drafted to be a main cog in the offense. He'll probably get 12-14 points per game and six of those coming off offensive rebounds.

Oden was brought in to sure up the Blazers in the paint on the defensive end. Maybe after he learns how to play better with his back to the basket, then he'll be a main cog in the offense, but if Oden was playing today then I'm sure he'd be averaging maybe two or four more points than Joel is.

That being said, I don't think Oden will have any effect on Aldridge's numbers besides maybe his assists going up and his rebounds going down.
