Default Doesnít really feel like the Raptors are champs

Do you get that feeling? I donít hear anyone talking about it. I just hear about the drafts and potential trades and the Lakers. Itís not the same thing as taking down the full Warriors. I mean the Raptors had a parade and I didnít even know. I only heard about it because my boy was talking about Jeremy Lin.

When people think of this year, they seem to remember the injuries. Letís be honest. Isnít the excitement kinda meh? Every Raptor fan knows what woulda happened if both teams were at full strength. Thereís no doubt and no denial. But sometimes itís better to be healthy than good.

TL/DR except the title.

Most of us feel the Raptors are champs. Impressive playoff run, Kawhi winning the chip in his first year with them.

The improvement they made within 12 months with the addition of Kawhi. From being swept by the Cavs to winning the title.

Lastly, we finally got some fresh blood. With the exception of the Spurs in 2014, last 8 years it has been either Lebron or the Warriors winning.

A great achievement and a win for basketball in general.

So callate maricon

Well they are. The media would rather talk about Lebron's butthole than talk about other NBA teams.

Hell yeah it feels like they are the champs. Half the time it's meh, but this year you can feel it.

Other non meh feeling chips this decade: 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016.

The difference is it was the best player who got injured. Including 2016 though the Bogut injury and Draymond suspension, No wonder Lebron has more finals losses than anyone

How can anyone make excuse for Draymond's suspension? He's dumb that's his flaw and his fault. He should be suspended for more with the way he acts and plays.

That's how it goes with the 1 chippers. They will be doubted again next year. But kawhi did get his resume , credentials up as a generational greatest.

The NBA doesn't really care or want a dominant team outside the US. Why do you think they push for Zion to be the face when Giannis is marketable, funny, and only 23 years old.

It's always been that way.

Plus hard to dump money into a team that you're not sure will be be back next year.

True basketball fans appreciate what Toronto did
