The Knicks are not in complete dissaray. The player referenced by Melo and JR Smith is gone. If you want to say they will suck, etc you can argue that. But they have no internal strife, no coaching issues, no need to change the roster, they are everything but in dissaray.

I get that the Knicks are the popular team to use as a punching bag at the moment, but 75% of the things you mentioned will have no affect the team next year. The only possible consequence of any of those is that Kidd might miss a game or 2 at the start of the year to deal with a suspension.

Lol disarray? The Knicks just had a very solid offseason which they plugged a lot of holes. Both Melo and Tyson Chandler are playing on the Olympic team. Jason Kidd got a DUI, but so have many other players and coaches too. They have a coach that actually emphasizes defense and everyone on the organization seems to be on the same PG. There is no locker room issues at the moment.

We targeted players who we knew would bring locker room leadership like Marcus Camby & Kurt Thomas, along with bringing in players with familiarity with each other whether it be Felton/Amare on the Knicks, Kidd/Chandler on the Mavs, or Melo/Camby/Smith from their Denver days.
