Default Cap Room Next Summer

I would like to know if the Lakers have much cap room next summer. There
are a couple of great PGs that could be available....

I see these salaries coming off the books next summer:

A. McKie 2.5mil
B. Grant 15mil
C. Mihm 4.5mil

Are there any others?

ESPN's trade machine says we are 25mil over the cap this year. The above
takes out about 22mil.

Does that mean trades are the only realistic possibility?

I was trying to look into this as well, but it seems as if we're going to be right there on the salary cap. I think there will be some cap room but not nearly enough to sign any big name players.

yea trades are the only possibility. only time we're gonna get significant money is when LO7 contract expires and we will prolly renew that. so imo, we should try to get a big name in there as soon as possible...then we can go ahead and resign them even though we may be over the cap.

I think we might have about 7 mill.
Not really sure. But still not enough to sign a max contract.

But it will make it easier for us when it comes to trading we can trade for better players that have bigger contracts at least.
