Filling in at PF on Sunday, Patrick Patterson stayed aggressive and led the Kings with 27 points and eight rebounds, going 11-of-18 from the field with three 3-pointers.
DeMarcus Cousins was resting, Jason Thompson was scoreless with four fouls in 15 minutes at center, and with Carl Landry (hip) injured it was up to Patterson to give the frontcourt some punch. He played well when given the opportunity last season, including 41 starts in which he averaged 12.4 points on 52.6 percent shooting, 0.8 threes, 4.8 rebounds and 0.6 blocks, and he should scrape together low-end fantasy value until Landry returns in 3-4 months.
