How bad does Goran Dragic want to play for the Phoenix Suns? Last Saturday, he got on a plane in his native Slovenia and flew 17 hours to Los Angeles. After a two-hour layover, he arrived in Phoenix just before 10 p.m.
The next morning he was up before 7 and on the practice court at US Airways Center at 9, where he spent an hour and a half playing two-on-two with three other draft hopefuls.
A few hours later, he was back on another plane, headed home.
The Suns were the only team on his agenda.
“All of that because he wants to play here with Steve (Nash),” Suns vice president of operations David Griffin said.
Suns traded their 2nd round pick plus 500k to Spurs for this guy...even though he's not going to join the team this year
What goes on in Sarver's head?
500 k is not a big deal in the nba. and how much of an impact do you think ur second round pick would have this year? its a calculated risk. they think they can get him over at some point and they feel as if he can replace nash. i don't see the problem. waiting one year for a player is a pretty good scenario considering some teams have to wait three or four years or don't even recieve the player at all (Fran Vazquez)
Dragic come to Suns??
He is best at Europe pointgaurd!!
He has cigar business here in Slovenia! Think he need money??
Goran Dragic like play in Europe, he a super cool player also superstar here. Money he has enough. Slovenia is so beautiful country why he go desert at Phoenix?

Is there a reason why you cant speak english in this post but speak it fine in your other posts?
Am I missing something? Where does it say anything about him not joining the team? DO you even know the situation?
He's most likely not joining the team this year...
Quote:
The buyout clause with his team in Spain comes next year. If he and his agent, Bill Duffy (who is also Nash’s agent), try to work a buyout this year, it could cost the player about 1 million euros (more than $1.5 million) even after the Suns kick in the $500,000 allowable to help.
“We’re going to try. We’ll do what we can,” Griffin said. “This year, we can only do what we can do. It’s a lot of money, and the exchange rate doesn’t help. Maybe it takes a year.”
As for 500k, it's pocket change for NBA owners but Robert Sarver is very cheap.
