So I actually really enjoyed this movie. It pretty much completely ignores the plot of all the other X-Men movies, and resets the entire universe... but as a stand-alone movie, I thought it was great. I could see how watching it in a theater would be long. Luckily I watched it on the couch.

[COLOR="White"]I loved watching Jean Grey go Dark Phoenix on Apocalypse. I kind of guessed that's how he would have to be defeated. I just wasn't sure they were gonna unleash that secret because it went against the established plot of every other X-Men movie. Hopefully they stick with this newly created universe for awhile and build on it. [/COLOR]

The movie was ok. It was significantly better than X-Men 3, but worse than every other X-men ensemble movie.

Jean Grey takes a shot at Last Stand when she says, "everyone knows the 3rd movie in a trilogy is always the worst", when she's talking about RotJ.
