I forgot about Bob Sanders, he was injured a lot this year which is probably why I forgot about him. Same with Mike Brown.

Willis IS NOT an OLB, if you actually watched him play instead of looking him up on the net, you would see. Why do you think he's being compared to Ray Lewis? doesn't make any sense. talk about credibility killer.

I said Mario Williams could "possibly" be the best DE in the NFL at this point, definitely top 5. So much for "losing credibility"

Mike Brown shouldn't even be mentioned, dude is done as a good safety in the NFL. He'll never be the same.

Witten had a better year than Gates

Allen and Peppers are almost the exact same...

and if you don't know that Aso is the best CB in the NFL by now then this thread should be your wake up call...

I'd take Champ for now, he's been the best corner for like a decade now. He's been injured this season.

Jared Allen is not the same as Peppers, great player but not Julius good.
Witten probably had a better year, but was Gates healthy?

he played every game...

I am confused on how we are supposed to base our picks...

for the future?

present? (injured players OUT)

past?

If we are basing our picks on who is good right now at this moment then Brady should be an option...he can't play...and it is unfair to assume that he is still the greatest thing to touch a football...

This past season should influence your decision but don't neglect what those players have done in the past and take injuries under consideration.

Gates has not really been healthy this year.

Joe Thomas is 1000x the player McKinnie is. McKinnie is a borderline top 10 LT.

PS/ Nnamdi Asomugha is the undisputable number 1 corner in the league now.
