We sucked this year. I think we only won two games. But hung in with all the big schools.

Yeah, just looked up their record, honestly pretty surprising it's that bad. Not that Purdue's good, far from it, but they did just knock off OSU, beat an (over)ranked Illinois, woulda/coulda/shoulda beat Penn State, they're .500 in the Big Ten. Expected to see MTSU competing for the Sun Belt off that game.

Temple's pretty clearly the better team, but this early as hell tip has both teams looking just sloppy as hell. Also gotta love literally two dozen people in the stands.

Gottlieb and the other gy just spent literally two full minutes talking about mustaches.

Wait for the Hummel overload next game. If I were Irish I'd take a drink every time I heard Hummel, ACL, or Momo. Chug the bottle for Missouri.

I just turned back to ESPNU, did something happen? They're showing this Road Trip thing about the Alabama/LSU game three weeks ago even though my guide says it's supposed to be Iona/Purdue.

On the bright side, the chick on the show is really nice to look at.

Gotta clean off the court and have shootarounds I assume, bout to tip. This is Iona's first game of the year.

Very fast paced so far. Expected Purdue's defense to be better. Someone needs to stick to Ryne Smith. He is not missing.

Purdue has been awful from the FT line, especially down the stretch. They've made just two out of their last six in a tow point ballgame.

Hummel hits a three to put Purdue up 91-90 with 15 seconds to go. This has been a great college basketball game, but given the setting, time, and the lack of excitement from the announcers it has the feel of a 20 point early season blowout.

Purdue missed two more free-throws up 91-90 and about three seconds remaining. They shot just 11/19 from the line for the game.

They held on to win, though, and Hummel had 24 points and 9 rebounds. He also shot 4/9 from three.

They were very fortunate to win that one. I think fatigue really took it's toll on them. They're not used to such an up and down pace.

I'll be at UConn/Maine tonight. I'd be willing to bet AD gets a double double tonight.
