Okay. Whats the deal guys? I expected this to be a big year for him. I know hes been injured but he can barely crawl out from Scott's doghouse. I know alot of Hornets fans who think that we should move him and MoPete for more depth. I would disagree with them but with his recent play it makes it a hard case.
Do you think that Wright will eventually turn it around and become that versatile valuable player we drafted him to be?
I disagree with them also. I'm definitely not ready to give up on Wright. People have to realize that the guy is still really young and sometimes those learning curves can be a bit rough. Scott doesn't just let guys go out there and "play". He started the last game against the Sixers and will get the start again tonight against the Nuggets. I hope he makes the best of his PT. Sometimes he goes out there and thinks too much and tries to do too much which is why I think he messes up sometimes. It's like when he messes up it stays on his mind and his confidence dwindles rather than letting it go and moving on. I think he'll eventually get it. And hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
Yeah once again last night he seemed to be playing not to make mistakes instead of just playing. The high point was the alley oop, the low point was getttinng taken out after that phantom foul on Billups. He should really be flourishing with this PT but hes not. He really got outplayed by Sean Marks last night. Wow.
