When you're creating an offensive game plan, isn't one of your goals to create mismatches? When you switch, you're creating the mismatch for them. You're doing all the work for them. You're oly supposed to switch a a last resort. When your guy can't get around the screen at any cost, you help by switching. I just dont get how having your pg on big men and your big man on pg's makes sense.

Yea its still early and all that stuff, blah blah blah... Yea its early but, I definitely dont like what we're seein from this great "defensive coach" we brought in. If this is his defense, constant switching, then hell why dont we paint a big logo in the lane that says "open all hours, all baskets free"!!! Everybody wants to pile on D'antoni and I agree to a point that he has not done the job. But 1) to ask him to teach something he's not a natural at(defense) will never work, and 2) he and the FO goes out to get a coach SPECIFICALLY for defense, and what happens??? 118 points to the F***ING bobcats thats what happens.... Im sorry but, right now, Woodson needs to be gone, because, even if they finally pick up and perfect his "system," is constant switch off lead to easy layup or wide open jump shot really a good system to try to run??? I think not

The idea was dumb to begin with. This isnt football. You dont hire defensive coordinators. Either a guy can coach basketball or he cant.
