Hey, im just wondering, do i need to start the fantasy stuff at start of NBA season?

Yes!..most leagues start prior to the beginning of the season..

Depending on where you play, there is usually a deadline established that states when you must register in order to draft a team. However, some create leagues even after the season begins.

im curious about the nba.com one if i need to.

if there is another fantasy league i could start playing now id join that.....

I haven't seen a league that drafts later than December personally, but it doesnt mean that there isnt one out there.
