The Pacers still aren't a championship contender with the addition of Harrington, but they can now get a round further in the playoffs, probably

Surely they are contenders if they have a healthy season

Contenders for what exaclty? The playoffs. Sure. The second round. Maybe. The third round. Thinning out a bit. Finals. No. Title. Pipe dream to the max.

Default cool man chu

The Pacers have a nice looking team, and hopefully everybody stays healthy. I am very intrigued by the Marquis Daniels & Maceo Baston aquisitions.

Default Champoinship starting 5? no way!!

Pacers starting 5
2006-07 season

PG Jamal Tinsley
SG Stephon Jackson
SF Danny Granger
PF Al Harrington
C Jermaine Oneal

They got a pretty deep bench but still not a chamionship roster. Jamal can't stay healthy, Jackson is a good player but I don't think he will have a good season, Danny Granger will only get better I don't expect this year to be a break out yr mb next yr, Al Harrington will be there most consitant player, Jermaine will have a great yr but I think he won't have a carear best yr and that's wat it would take for the pacers to get a title.

Default 3 point shot

We mwy have the forwards and centers but no shotting guards and no point guard. The only true point guard we had we ship out. Im a big pacer fan but we will be lucky to make the playoffs. We should have ship Steven Jackson out but that makes to much sence. Im out Banshee

i think the team still has faith in Tinsely. Shooting guard we're not that bad...having Jackson and Daniels as a backup, isnt bad at all

Tinsley will play 20 games and sit for 30 he is a great point guard but he is to big of a wuss. Bring Reggie back we will win the whole damn thing. They need to start Jeff Foster and that will free up o'neal. Keep Steven Jackson on the bench and start big al. REGGIE LIVES Im out Banshee

so you want Foster to start and Jackson to be on the bench??
so the lineup will look like:
Tinsely
Granger
Harrington
Oneal
Foster
?????????????????????
Granger at 2, thats not happening...we have to play either Daniels or Jackson at the 2

If the pacers play as a true team this year (like USA) then they can go extremely far. They have a talented young and also smart group of guys which is a rarity.

Coach carlisle is a great coach i rate him up there with larry brown, gregg poppovich, Phil jackson.

I dont see why they cant be a top 3 team when all the other east teams havent improved much.

All i see is Chicago, Heat, and now the Pacers.

Default sweetness

I am very excited about this (Al Harrinton). I really like the moves that have been made. It was sad to see AJ & Croshere go, but Marquis Daniels is a nice player. It will be interesting to see the Pacers "new" style of play.
