Default Kobe VS Lebron comparisons

I keep hearing on the main NBA forum these comparisons between Kobe and Lebron.

Several Lebron fans keep pointing out that Lebron is better simply because he has already led his team to the NBA finals, and Kobe has not being able to do that since Shaq left.

Here's the argument I posted:

It's funny how people keep bringing up that Kobe hasn't led the Lakers past the 1st round without Shaq.

Surround Lebron with: Smush Parker (far from an NBA starter), Shammond Williams, Luke Walton ( I now regret my username), Kwame (need I say more), an injured Aaron Mckie, Brian Cook, Lamar with 40 games lost to injury...

Could Lebron lead that team to the NBA finals? Going through the West?

Dont let them bother you, if anything, stay away from those kind of threads, its just a bunch of spam and hate going around anyhow.

You'll never convince a fan of one or the other to your side. Ive pointed out many times they dont even play the same position.

Do yourself a favor and live longer and keep away from those threads

That's the best advice I've gotten so far

I thought I could find some objectivity there.

It's one thing to be a fan, quite another to be a fanatic.
