Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars announced today that the club has re-signed guard Will Bynum to a contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to re-sign Will Bynum,” said Dumars. “Will brings unique skills to our team at the point guard position and we feel his leadership and play-making abilities will continue to grow and evolve.”
Glad to have him back. Bynum is certainly a better player than say, Kyle Lowry. A team like Indiana could have stolen a starting quality PG and failed.
i'm also glad to see him back. considering all the players that we have who are "versatile enough to play 2 positions" like these combo guards and our 6'11" shooting guard and our not-so-powerful forward CV31, it's nice to have a player who definitively plays ONE position, point guard.
How does he think he should be starting over any 2 of the 3 guys you have in stuckey/ben gordon/rip? He is crazy
----
So for the people who don't want stuckey to be the "pg" what type of player do you want to see him paired with?
----
Do you think terrico white is an nba player
Terrico is athletic enough and he has the size. He just needs to work on his skill.
I agree. I think he'll end up as a pretty good player. He's very athletic, gets to the rim, can play the point in a pinch(not full time though IMO, though we'll see) and should develop into an elite defender.

Trust me, you want your bench guys to have that attitude that they are looking to start. He didn't say he deserved to start or anything controversial, just that he was basically going to give his all and shoot for the top(the starting lineup).

Agreed, it makes everybody better when they are forced to always play their best and make each other better at the game.
