Liam McIntyre will replace Andy Whitfield. Here's a comparison pic:

Funny....the net guy, Ashur and Crixus all had the look of wrestlers thrown out of the ring during a royal rumble.
    I know right ...
. . but it almost seems as if Doctore knew Gannicus was tapping his wife.
In a weird way he was okay with it because he knew it made her happy..
    no.. I don't know .. . could he have known. . . NO.

what is ya'lls take on it?

it just must of been a long time ago for you or something.
because that sounds crazy. I'd say he has one of the biggest parts other than Spartacus or Battiatus and his wife. That whole season has Crixus.. every episode.. VERY large role in Blood And Sand

    go back and re-visit it

    He's boning Lucretia alot..
But he is in love with this other slave girl.

He is the reigning champion from the start of the series.
Champion of Capua. The Gaul: Crixus
    No?

Then Spartacus basically becomes champ half way through and Crixus is hurt at one point..

    i dunno.

the dude playing Arthur seems like he might be an annoying punk ass bitch

the ads for the show have also been a little too in love with themselves for my tastes.

its almost to the level of TNT "WE ARE AWESOME, WE KNOW DRAMA!" advertising.

    okay.. probably not...about Doctore knowing..
but.. that is pretty much an accurate description of Lucretia and Crixus.
Battiatus pretty much knows that they are boning.
After they set Gannicus free.. Lucretia was like "let us turn attention to future prospects in Crixus." Battiatus kinda had that look like he was thinking
Crixus.. hmmm .. he must of put it in her butt ..

Last episode was epic. The fire-net move and then breaking the spear at the end...omg....

I was so not looking forward to Gannicus dying, which was the only explanation after not being sold I could find for him not being Blood & Sand. I grew pretty fond of Animaus's wife too...

Next season should still be fun, but man without Battiatus I don't know...he stole the show so many times.

Man, I wish it was longer than 6 shows. And Gannicus is a fkn G! I thought since he wasn't in season 1, he got killed by Crixus as Crixus was champion in season 1.

In real life my buddy told me that Gannicus was a General in Sparticus army, so if we are lucky, they will bring him back next season. That guy is what I aspire to be, a pompus, balsy son of a

But I will miss Battiatus too, who will be the villian now? That chump that got Sparticus enslaved in the first place? That guy needs a **** introduced in his ass too.

and other than Spartacus, Battiatus may be the best character
(for not being a gladiator) he was seriously just too good .. .

    From wikipedia:

Certainly other slave leaders are mentioned
