Buckeye Fans-
Whether you are making the trip to Atlanta to see Ohio State compete in the Final Four or watching it from the comfort of you home, one thing should excite you…We have had a PRETTY GOOD SEASON IN SPORTS!!!!! Not only did our football team make it to the BCS Championship Game, still not completely over that upset, but our basketball team is making ground and looks good for the final match up for the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship. I don’t know about you, but the cheering, close games and all out stress of the whole thing is making me more and more anxious with each passing day.
I have often wondered what more I could do to show my support for the Buckeyes when I stumbled onto a site for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance for each round of March Madness until the Final Four were chosen. Ohio State was nominated twice for Gaming Changing Performances. Nominated in Round 2 against Xavier, where the Buckeyes’ rallied behind from an 11-point deficit in the second half to send the game into overtime with a long 3-pointer by Senior Ron Lewis. Again in Round 4 for an all around outstanding effort consisting of hitting a combined 20 straight free throws in the second half to seal the win against Memphis.
Now it looks like Ohio State has been nominated as one of the finalist in the Pontiac Game Changing Performance Competition. If we win, our team will be announced and rewarded at the National Championship Game. What better way to end the year than to WIN the National Championship and WIN scholarship money for our school overall. You can vote at
