That is true, and I said the same thing on another thread. I didn't think K-State would win, but I wasn't stunned. They had the two best players on the floor.
That said, Kansas was due to lose there eventually, and due to lose eventually this season, so I wouldn't put much, if any, stock into it.
And given the choice between two potentially outstanding pros that are freshmen on a painfully young roster and 4-5 potentially okay-but-not-great pros on a deep veteran roster, I'll of course take the latter every time.
