Predict the Lakers record against the elite..

Thought might be interesting to see how you think our Lakers will do against the elite this season.

L.A did pretty well last year against the elite winning all 4 against Boston and Cleveland while going 2-1 vs the Spurs and going 3-1 against the Nuggets. Orlando is the one where L.A struggled losing the head to head 2-0.

Obviously we play only twice against the east compared to 3 or 4 times against the west.

2 games vs the Cavs
2 games vs the Celtics
4 games Vs the Spurs
2 games vs the Magic
4 games vs the Nuggets
3 games vs the Blazers

I think the above is correct in terms of how many games against the elite?

lol I still don't think the cavs are elite so thats a 2-0 against them.

1-1 celtics
3-1 spurs
2-0 magic
3-1 nuggets
2-1 blzers

I think we will be too tough but thats just my opinion.

They should be mentioned, they are likely going to be a top 3/4 team in the west this season. They deserve to be mentioned.

So my question is, who would you replace the Blazers with on the list, that is considerably better?

id throw the hornets in there... sure they dissapointed, but hey.. they were pretty good the year before and havent changed all that much since then

hornets have an elite point guard, they are not an elite team though

I agree with gts.. and also while I think that Okafor will greatly benefit from CP3... Im not sure if it will be smooth sailiing from the get go.. I think they need time to learn each other.. in sex and in basketball, familiarity and chemistry is key..

I'd like to win them all but it's all about the ring, it's hard for me to get too up or down about regular season games or take too much stock in them......Orlando was 2-0 against us last year.....how'd that work out for them......Hell, the Bobcats OWN us
