Why?

Boston gets a 3-headed monster in Jefferson-Gasol-Pierce. Chucky Atkins becomes the veteran/mentor PG we need. Cardinal is simply a worse contract than Scali so we do it to sweeten the deal.

Memphis needs to rebuild and Gasol has been back and forth as to whether or not he wants out. #5 and Gerald are very nice pieces along with Rudy Gay to begin a youth movement. Theo and Bassy expire giving them about 15 million of the cap. The future 1st is a nice sweetner and Scal is cheaper than Brian Cardinal."

Any of you like it, or do you want to tweak it. BTW, Gerald averaged 17/4.3/1.7 when he was a starter this year, and is only 21! Match that with the number 5 pick, and you guys are set for the future.

RB, that sounds like a good deal to me.
Pau doesn't want to be on a rebuilding team which is
what the Grizzlies are going to be for the next couple
of years. Atkins is a good reliable point guard but
he wants out too. Green and the #5 this year and a
future #1 would be the main deal. The other players
are filler to make salary room. Do you think Ainge would make
a deal for Gasol?

Now do the grizz get to keep there pick this year? If so then I would say do it.You would get two new players with high hopes.Along with green and a future pick.However still boston is not offering much fire power.Telfair has finally proven he is a bench player at best.Scal is worse then cardinal.Green has upside.Not sure where he would play though.We have gay and miller.On second thought not sure about this being fair.Unless the future pick turns out golden.
