Pippen in 1996 Finals: 15/8 on 34%.. WOAT 2nd option performance
Pippen's 15/8 on 34% is worse than Mosgov's 14/8/2 on 50% in 2015 Finals (with 2 blocks).
Has anyone ever done worse as a 2nd option in Finals than Pippen's 1996?
Btw, Pippen also averaged 15/7 on 41% in 1998 Finals, including 6 and 8 points in final 2 games.

Its important to note though that practically EVERY bull shot pretty bad that series
MJ himself shot 41.5% while averaging 3 TOs/game
However, thankfully the Bulls played great defense, and didn't let the sonics do much better
Harper was great this series if I remember, guarding Payton very well

16(15.7)/8/5 with over 2 steals and a block a game as a player whos greatest contribution was always defensive? Eh. Larry Hughes was the second best player on the 07 Cavs and their second leading scorer for the season.....but in the playoffs he put up 11 a game on .347 shooting over 18 games...not 6. And he only played 43 minutes in the finals scoring a total of 2 points. And he was far from Pippen as an overall player.
But thats a situation where he was so poor people just pretend he wasnt the #2 option and go with the #2 scorer instead.
Hughes was the second option...but he shot so poorly he was third leading scorer by the end of the playoffs and the teams 4th leading scorer for the season was second.
But it was a step up from his previous seasons playoffs when he gave the Cavs 11 on...32% shooting.
I was less than enthused when the Bulls traded for him.
That said....im gonna ask you once more to stop making repeat topics:

Not saying I agree or disagree but Pippen was playing injured and the numbers don't capture what he did on the defensive end. He was injured in the '98 playoffs as well I believe.

Pippen led the entire postseason in DRTG, DWS, BPM and VORP. He was clearly playing some otherworldly defense. His PER also stood at 19.5 and had a WS/48 of .195.

JR SMITH was Lebron's second option in the 2015 Finals...and BY FAR. He easily took the second most FGAs, and put up a 12-4-1 .312 series.
No way in hell MJ would have won with that POS roster either.
