I think that we are underestimating what a healthy Bynum will be able to do for the Lakers. If the Lakers (in your scenario) trade him for Marion, the inside presence would be lacking. I think the Lakers would have the same problems as they did last season with respect to getting to a true title, which is they are soft in the middle when it comes to a championship series. Bynum fixes that, Marion does not.

Thats just my opinion and I am sure others differ.





Wow, that's exactly the point I was going to make

I do still have the Bynum over Danny Granger thing in the back of my head, I wanted Granger in the draft.....but it's a bit of the same point made above, we need a strong middle. I think (HOPE) this will be Bynum's year.
