Denham Brown was just selected 40th overall to Seattle. I am guessing Colangelo took Tucker over Brown because he felt Tucker would be the better player for our team, fans would rather watch a winning team then a losing team with Canadians on it, I know I would. I don't care where the guys are from, as long as they win games.

Because Tucker is a BETTER PLAYER than Denham.

Who cares where the players are from, just take the best talent available. Taking Canadian players simply because they are Canadian is a dumb thing to do. I'm Colangelo knows better.

Did Tucker average more rebounds than Lamarcus Aldridge?

I would have liked to see Denham picked but Tucker is in fact the better player.

Pj Tucker is just a steal there and a way better player. I though he would endd up in the first round but i guess we got lucky again.

Tucker is a forward which we have a ton of suddenly. I know that he might be a better player statistically but look at the team Denham Brown played on. 4 first rounders and he was rumored to go in the late 1st early 2nd as well. Too me they are a wash talent wise but Brown plays a position that we needed depth at. Even Bobby Jones or Hassan Adams would have been better in my mind. Perhaps even Diaz, that we could have kept or shipped to Miami to try and get Dorell Wright.

Bobby Jones is who I wanted but Tucker is a good talent to have. I could see him challenging Graham for backup SF minutes.

IMO..Tucker is better than Denham......and think about it..if Denham wasn't canadian...would u still think hes better than tucker?
atleast he still got drafted..unlike Mendez or English...so its not as bad

i had a feeling BC wouldn't draft Denham...

Yeah but you got to look at it his way. If you draft for holes you can never get rid of that piece ....or rarely...look what happened to Araujo. You can always take talented players and turn them into pieces b/c there's always a market for good talent. I feel another trade coming on soon that will solve some of the back court issues. Colangelo said he was working on something unrelated to the draft last night.

P.J Tucker is a steal. He averaged more points and rebounds than Aldridge. He is not a very good shooter but is a tremendous rebounder and for the Raptors, it wouldnt hurt to have a guy like that coming off the bench.

It is going to be really interesting to see how all the new guys mesh with the current players.

This could be a really good year, I hope hehe.
