Even though we played them terribly last year, I think we have an okay chance against Dallas.
I'm not even very excited for playoff time, because Portland has been playing pretty badly lately against real competition, but I don't see us having any chance against Denver or the Lakers.
I don't see us having much of a chance against any of the top seeded teams. We'd be looking to pull an upset no matter who we are against, so I'd rather go against Lakers, because if we pull off an upset versus LA, it would be that much more satisfying. I also think the Blazers have a better chance against LA than the other potential 8th seed teams due to how we match up against them, so might as well give the Lakers a tougher match up to at least try to wear them out a bit before they likely take on a tougher opponent in the 2nd round.
Things change fast too. Denver has gone down the crapper recently and look like a great opponent to draw. Dallas also doesn't seem so bad. Utah has kicked our butts though.
Whatever happens please don't get Utah. I don't want to sit there and watch when we playing in there building. Whenever we play there, there is about 3 or 4 holes in my wall by the end of the 4th qtr. We never seem to play well in Utah, same can go for Denver.
I had the Blazers in the WCF losing to L.A. until I saw B. Roy is getting surgery and will miss the playoffs so I think the Blazers could lose to the Suns but I don't think they'll get further than the second round.
