Would've really liked to have seen that Lakers group stick together (Van Exel, Jones, etc.). They were fun to watch.

I remember Seattle having choked the previous year agains Denver, and figuring they would lose again, despite having the better record and HCA.

I figured they were choke artists. But they got it together the next year.

Mostly the same team and the same coach returned in '96, so I don't understand what was up with the previous 2 seasons? Was it certain players on those teams?

Lakers had their number and matched up good with them, Nick van exel used to own Gary Payton believe it or not.
