Default So should the Kings rebuild or not?

Should the Kings build on top of Bibby, Martin and Artest?

Or deal Bibby and/or Artest and rebuild?

Deal them and rebuild they have a strong chance to suck it up and get No. 1 if they do.

It's pretty much the general consensus that the Kings will rebuild by dumping the bigger contracts with Bibby, Miller, and KT, but they can't do that now. They will withing the next two years though.

which really kinda sucks, cause we could use the highest pick possible in this draft...hopefully the FA market will be nice to us too...

Yes, we should rebuild. The only piece(s) that we MUST keep are Kevin Martin. I wouldn't mind keeping Kenny Thomas around for depth, as well as Francisco Garcia.

We should ditch everyone else via trades.

In developing news, if Okafor doesn't sign with the Bobcats by July, can he opt out of the final year of his contract if we give him a max offer? I'm a huge Okafor fan. Think he'd provide a great defensive presence for the Kings.

Maybe the team could do a sign and trade for Bibby + fillers (KT maybe) if they aren't gone from sac by then. I think Okafor would be a great addition to the team.

Is Oke worth a max contract?

Al Jefferson and Iggy didn't get max contracts. What separates Oke from them?

i think he would have potential to get a max (hell look at what rashard got out of orlando) if he could play full seasons...he is a big time defensive presence that most teams lack...i still don't think he's worth a max contract, but he definitely has some great value

jefferson hasn't been this good for long enough to have earned a max, and iggy was mostly a support player for a while, one or two great seasons usually won't garner a max deal - the next ones they get will be max

He's a great defensive post presence and rebounder, something the Kings need really bad. He had a 25/23 game tonight, on 10-14 shooting. Only problem is that he sucks at FT's. Plus, he's young, and if the team can trade some pieces and get him, they will have a great young core to work with.

I like Douby (sp) a lot, that young man is essential to our new style of play.
