Re: would the bulls have an easier series if hinrich didnt get hurt?
Hinrich's defense is much better. He would guard Rose much better than Teague does. I also would say that ATL needs Hinrich, they would be better with him. No disrespect to Teague, he's playin' quite well.
Re: would the bulls have an easier series if hinrich didnt get hurt?
Rose wouldn't even have to break a sweat playing Hinrich. Just let him shoot wide open bricks like he usually did when he played for the Bulls.
And defensively unless the refs let him get away with hacking, Hinrich wouldn't have the foot speed to keep up with Rose, not to mention the fact that unlike most of the times he goes against PGs, Hinrich would be physically overmatched.
Teague might be unproven, but its not even close. He's making Rose put in work on both ends of the court, which is something that Hinrich physically cannot do. The series would be over last night if Teague doesn't get minutes.

I'm not over-rating Hinrich. You're over-rating Teague.
Think about it, if you were Thibs, do you prioritize stopping Teague? We are pretty much opening the door for him to do whatever he wants, because he runs out of gas pretty quick after he gets hot.
Rose wouldn't have scored 44 points against Kirk. Sorry, he would have done well, and we would have a gameplan in place to beat the Hawks, but Rose would have had a lesser of a game. Teague is a hot/cold player. Kirk may not play as well as Teague when he's hot, but he would have been more consistent throughout the series.

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Ok...how about this guys; The Atlanta Hawks would be an even bigger...(I have to choose the perfect word or someone will go apesh!t) a bigger difficulty for the current Chicago Bulls team, if the Hawks had been fortunate enough to have both Hinrich and Teague?
Can we just be glad they don't have both players as options to throw at our favorite team?
Re: would the bulls have an easier series if hinrich didnt get hurt?
Keltic nailed it. Teague, in a vacuum, has played his ass off. Put both of them out there, even if Teague gets less action, and the effect of both working would limit the Bulls offense even more.
