    Default free agent wing possibilites

With the selection of cabaclo and not able to acquire another pick, the raps roster still needs another wing player. One who can preferably defend nba scorers right now. Cabaclo was a pick for his potential, and one I will be patient with.

If raps get back lowry, Patterson, Vazquez and de colo. Big if.. \
but assuming they do and want to continue being a threat in the east who could they bring in as their wing defender.

some names that would seem like a fit would be marvin Williams, tucker, sefalosha, Ariza.

    Who could we afford?

I'm assuming the raps will let hansbrough go and not have him on cap.
If we can get lowry for 11 million, that should leave us 5 million to sign a wing.

Hansborough has a contract for 2014/2015. I'm no cap expert, but I don't think you can just "let a guy go" and not have to retain some $$ on your cap. I can't see the PA agreeing to anything of the sort.

    Maybe I'm wrong.

Hansbrough has a million dollar buyout from his 3.3 mill contract. Then the raps will have that as cap space. But it will cost them a mil.

Ariza will be out of our price range. BUt I would really like to take runs at Tucker and Sefolosha.

    I want a defender.

Can Metta World Peace still run with these younger guys on the perimeter? He is a good defender, can pop the occasional 3 and would probably play for cheap?
