Hey, you forget the "restricted free agent" issue. Nobody will trade a "near all-star" caliber player for a restricted free-agent, I think.

Everybody know Toronto's PG situation. Ford is a risk and he gets 8 million a year. If I wanted to steal Calderon, I would probably offer him a 1-2 year at 10 million. ¿TO would be able to match? I guess no.

I would prefer paying 10 million to Calde than trading a great player to get him. ¿Am I wrong? ¿What do you think?.

Interesting.

I think Toronto would match it. They just can't afford to get nothing back if giving up calderon, especially with TJ health issues.

TJ is NOT a pass first point guard; he's way to egomaniacal to ever play that way. TJ knows that Bosh is the number one banana in T-Dot and he's the only player he concedes to.

And can you imagine TJ and Joe Johnson together, talk about locker room issues with them each talking about each other in the third person. With those two knucleheads we never will have a need for Noahs arc.

The difference between TJ and Jose is not even in the same galaxy. TJ has health issues that can and will return every season he plays, TJ's melon is soft, always trying to man up instead of trying to win a game by including his team mates and finally the media is beginning to portray TJ as the head case he has always been. Now, where does Jose come close to of this?

TJ's value is in getting out of this guaranteed contract. The value is addition by subtraction.
Ya, you certainlty have forgot about last season, and the start of this season for that matter....T.J has, I admit, been playing quite horrendous as of late. But that I believe simply stems from him still not feeling 100% comfortable since comign back from the injury, and him trying to do too much since he thinks he has to be the top-dog since Bosh is out. And now since hes been playing bad. Sam is losing some trust in him and cutting soem of his minutes, only forcing him to try and do MORE by himself in his limited minutes, when he really should be trying to do LESS by himslef and returnign to his roots of driving to the basket and simply dishing it out,(not sending up a floater). Once T.J gets bosh back and starts feeling comfortable, hopefully come playoff time he'll be playing better, sharing the duties with Jose(who also has been struggling). I still feel T.J is the slightly better PG, and still has more potential than Jose, but than again it is all kinda balanced out by T.J's injury concerns. With all that being said and the two pretty much having equal value to me and the Raptors as a whole it would be much more wise to trade Calderon, and get equal to greater value in return, rather than trade T.J and get less than equal value in return. I say either keep T.J and trade Jose while allowing Colangelo stock pile underrated talent creating a platoon back there. Or just resign both.....

out of those i think the best chance we have is going at biedrins
they might be looking to free up some PT for brandan wright, and andris isnt exactly a nellie-type bigman, like dirk and c-webb, a bigman with a shot instead that hideous movement he does when he "shoots" the ball. Id like biedrins, good shot blocker/rebounder good finisher, would be great alongside bosh, and be a good compliment with bargnani as well

Stop filling me with hope!

I tell myself all those things every day I'd trade any player on the Raptors not named Bosh for Biedrins. Give them a draft pick as well.
