I wouldn't worry if you trust her, she told you it's for him after all and talks to you about him. The time to worry is when she suddenly STOPS mentioning him to you and if you bring up him or works she brushes off the subject. That's when there's something going on.
Does sound like from his point of view he could be trying to get in there but if you trust her it's ok.

in all honesty though i think the best way to approach it would be to say something along the lines of: "be careful of the signals youre sending out, you know how guys think right?". You dont sound like a jealous freak and her response will probably be pretty telling
