Default Oct 31 Raptors vs Golden State

What a way to open the season at home... Simply Amazing.

- Bosh with 31
- Solid plays by Calderon
- O'Neal with the Blocks
- Anthony Parker with the steals!
- and last but not least Andrea THE GIANT!!! Way to come out big fella

JO and Bargs had a couple of great blocks.

Bosh, I felt took way too many jumpshots early in the 4th but he stepped it up later and into OT. I feel that this is the season where Bosh elevates himself into that "elite" class.

Oh and lets hope Bargnani can keep this up!

Really impressed for the most part.

Bosh was huge, Calderon was huge, Parker was huge.

The thing that I like the most was, while O'Neal had an off night, he was still solid on the defensive end, and Bargnani made up for his lack of offense.

A bad thing I take from this game is more bad coaching by Mitchell. Leaving Kapono out there in the final moments of the 4th quarter, when we already had Bargnani, Parker and Calderon (3 point threats). The Warriors were terrorizing us getting into the lane, and it would have been better for Moon to be out there.

Roko Ukic continues to be solid. Did Hump play at all?

I will be better next time if u lock 1 post up n then post refer to "insert post link here" .

But yea it was a great game, shows a lot of positive to continue to become a better team than last year.

I hope JO and Ukic will have a better game tommorow since bosh/jose played 43/42 mins (AP with 41 as well)

EDIT: Maybe next time 1 of u mods can create a gameday thread ahead of time so this won't happen again!

AP was more than great.

780games in a row with a 3pt made.

Down side...we kept giving away rebounds it just seems the bounds still not coming to us, KP didn't had the game like his first and for some reason we were out cold for a long time in 2nd half n woke up at the end thx to a lot of mistake.
JO didn't have a good game at all but hopefully he will make it up tommorow vs bucks.

Your thoughts?

Best I can do for ya right now.

It doesn't take a Mod to create a gameday thread.

all I can say is that we escaped. Granted i'm happy that we won but this trend of getting outrebounded has got to stop. A lot of positive and a lot of negatives to take from this game.

Parker and Moon looked like amazing defenders more than not. Hopefully they stay like that throughout the season.

TBH i was a tat worry when they pushed the lead back down to 4pts in OT with 49seconds left in the game.

Hump didn't play at all, Matt n :eo was talking about that during game how with Bosh JO and AB being solid he's unlikely to get any minutes but maybe tommorow on a back to back.

We were very lucky to win that game, our perimeter defence was the same as usual, open shot after open shot. Im not sure why the Raps wait til the last five min of the game to play good perimeter D.

A wins a win though, and if not for the Al Harringtons lucky break of JO's block coming right to him it might not have gone to OT.

Only reason we gave up soo many open 3's was because a matchup problem. I saw steven jackson posting up on small calderon so then one of the wing players came to help leaving there man open. This happened quite a few times.
