Default Steve Novak

Whats up Rockets fans. I'm from Wisconsin where I got to watch Novak play a lot seeing as he's a local guy. I'm interested to see what everyone's opinion of him is so far. He could team with Luther Head to be one of the best shooters in the NBA. Anyone think he'll get significant playing time this year???

Steve Novak is going to get a lot of playing time because of the lack of depth on the Rockets. He might be a rookie surprise and have a good season. He's got the talent and size to do so, and he will become quickly a fan favourite in Houston.

His shooting will make him an instant fan favourite like how Bonner was in Toronto.

Novak could play the 4. He's kind of a tweener to slow to guard 3's and not strong enough to play agains 4's in the paint. I think he could compliment Yao well at the 4 with his shooting. I'm thinking that he could be a poor mans Keith Van Horn. If the defense doubles on Yao or TMac, Novak can def hit the open shot.

i think he was a steal.... he will be like korver... a guy who can really only do 1 thing on the court, but he does it pretty damn well...

can definately make an impact with his range

At the least, he is a new Matt Bullard--always a fan favorite in Houston. He could prove to have more than just a good 3-point shot, but for the first season he is likely to be a shooter off the bench for only a few minutes at a time at SF or PF. He is likely to be pulled before any defensive deficiency can be exploited.

Default A Poor Mans Keith Van Horn????

SO DOES THAT MEAN HE WILL SUKK EVEN WORSE THAN VAN HORN??
DANG...
lol
Just kidding.. yea i get you on that.. cept.. we plan for him to hit his three's
What i see in him.. maybe could be a great shooter..
I wouldnt want him to bulk up though, that could throw off his shot..
but he should start doing sprints, because we need him to be fast at least...
