Re: Official UCLA Bruins Thread:
Yeah sucks losing to these small schools at the start of the season. Just drains your excitement for the coming season if you're a fan of that losing team. I felt that pain during the 07-08 season..

Playing a 1-1 Cal State Bakersfield squad tomorrow. Can't see any way the Bruins will lose this one as well....can they? CSB beat a 1-1 Utah Valley squad and lost to a 2-0 Santa Clara squad

Blessing in disguise. Dragovic is nothing but a softer & taller version of Sasha Vujachick.
Anything that opens up time for Reeves Nelson and even giving Mike Moser spot time is a plus.

Isn't that the second time in two years? Not like he was contributing much to the team. He looked horrible against Fullerton.
Anyways, the team is young and has a lot of potential. I really like what I saw from Reeves Nelson against Fullerton. Didn't catch the Baskersfield game though. It would've been nice if Jrue Holiday decided to stick around for another year, but Malcolm Lee is a nice young guard, one of the only guys I remember playing well against USC in the Pac-10 tourney last year, and so is Jerime Anderson. This season is probably going to be one of growing pains.

Holy ****, losing to low majors/d.ii schools, Drew Gordon off team? What the **** happened? i haven't been following college basketball to closely so far, how can a team with such a well financed program, good coach, and talented players be this bad?

Gordon's gone for "conduct detrimental." He's transferring after this quarter, said he wants to play somewhere more up-tempo.
Makes you wonder if he ever watched UCLA play before committing.
