Default Knick players who stink.

Watched some of the game last night until CSI went on. Believe me if there was something important about this game I would have watched every second!!!

So far I came away with the belief that certain Knick players just plain stink.

If Jefferies is the best player he can be right now he stinks.

Fred Jones does not fit into the NBA, he's a tweener and I was not impressed with any part of his game.....he stinks.

All the good things Nate showed in summer ball did not show up last night....he stinks.

Crawford can hit the three, can make that ally oop pass to Curry and that's about all, he stinks.

You are giving that tough reality.
This team has a lot of work cut out.
And all this has to happen as the east has gotten better.

It's preseason but we lost to the nets without kid. and played the celtics with there regular rotation. AND WE GOT SPANKED.
We suck ...PERIOD.
If it seemed like we were a lil cold then fine. but...
we can't defend, pass the ball, shoot the ball.
Our shooting will end up better but even last year we had no ball movement, D, or free throws.

Eddy or Zach gotta go
Jamal gotta go
Q isnt ready to start yet, maybe he should come off the bench till he's ready.

Nate is a changed player, dont look at stats he is finally getting how to play the game. He's not playin well now cuz he really doesnt know his role with this team yet and Zeke dont know either. Thats y this team is too DAM deep.

Our players gotta know what they will do day in and day out.

The Knicks lack players with basketball savvy. They seem lost on the court and I don't know why.

Is it bad coaching? Players without heart or brains? Poor D? Bad passing? Too many turnovers? A lack of chemistry or leadership? No desire?

I suspect it is not one or two bad players. Some of the Knick players would do well on other teams, individually. IMHO, the first place to start on the Knicks would be to get a play-making point guard and a better coach.

Why did Larry Brown fail here? I think I finally know. You can't win with a bunch of losers!

funny how 2 bad preseason games can make people turn sour on the knicks. u guys were either putting too much weight on summer league/the first 2 preseason games or putting too much weight on the last 2 preseason games

After so many years of failure and disappointment, we are tired of waiting for signs of intelligent life by MSG management and its employees to finally appear. Another do-nothing season of no Knick effort, no defence, and failure should not be tolerated!

IMHO Isiah should make his team run the stands and do suicide laps after every loss -- until they show some desire!

They did those laps last year and players had to be carried to the finish line namely Curry.

It is amusing that Marbury didn't play against the Nets.

Zeke was saving Marbs face if the Knicks had lost to a team who didn't have Kidd.

No! Zeke is desperate to find a point guard that can feed the post and be a play maker, so he was trying Jamal Crawford and Nate Robinson.

Marbury is the best PG we have, but sadly he is not good enough to make us competitive against the Celtics.

I wish he would just give the ball to Collins.....but maybe he's still nursing his injury. He's probably not ready yet.

Marbury is not the answer. Crawford is not and neither is Nate.

So in essence we are screwed unless Collins gets healthy and marbury gets IT....which by now he hasn't so probably never will.

I still say we can win and be a contender. You never know in sports that's why you play the games.

Honestly I don't think Isiah is a very good coach.

My observation about Jefferies, Nate and now Jones goes back a bit, it's not just from the other night.

Yes they all smell from lots of money and a lack of sweat!

It is time for Knick fans to have a winner.

If these players can't learn to play and hustle -- lets ship them out and get ones who will "stink" of sweat and come up smelling like roses in the win and loss column!

BTW: Collins is still injured.

Sorry Rock they stink plain and simple. They do not have NBA games.

They are third stringers that should be on the end of the bench.

Jefferies has no offensive game and cannot shut down anybody as a defender. So what good is he? Just a warm body......that can play a few different position all equally as mediocre.

Fred Jones at 6'2" is a tweener who cannot run a team as a PG nor is he tall enough to guard the bigger SG's in the league, again take a seat at the end of the bench. He's been in the league what 7 years? By now he should have made himself into a descent combo guard but has not.

Nate....the great.....he can dominate lesser players because of desire and strength. But he does not have an NBA game? He has more use than the other 2 but he makes so many stupid passes. On his side he is still young works hard and is learning. The other two are at a point were they are what they are and what you see is what you get. I don't see enough to keep them around.

The Knicks are a team of players with low basketball IQ's and no savvy. They have to be weeded out if they cannot learn to protect the ball which is a backup players first and foremost rule of play.
