some might be true but I bet a lot of that is what people have in there head regardless...if he catches a pass then it is because he is forcing the QB to, if he talks to the media he is a distraction, ect...a lot of it is just media drivin BS for sure...he is still an amazing athletic marvel...
Yeah, I try to keep that in mind. That is, the media is just hanging around, trying to create a story.
I genuinely think T.O. is thankful for the opportunity, and Palmer signed off on this whole thing, but it's staggering to look at the stats: When Owens is effective, Ocho can't do sh!t, and vice versa.
No doubt about it, though, even though his reputation far exceeds his production, Ochocinco's presense alone has helped out T.O.
I can't think of a game all season where they both played good at the same time, though and the offense has a weird habit of targeting one guy at a time.
For instance, in the second half of the game against Atlanta, Palmer threw exclusively to 85 to begin the second half. Last week, against Indy, there was a "well, we haven't thrown to Jermaine Gresham ALL game long, so lets target him 5/6 times in a row."
(and then last week, they looked for Gresham a whopping 3 times the entire game)
The ball is never spread around effectively.
This team was better when Benson's running set up the passing game. As it stands, they will go to him early, but then ignore him the rest of the game.
